Christmas is supposed to be a time of joy and celebration with loved ones. However, the day turned into tragedy for one Ohio family after a woman was killed in a hit-and-run accident. Now, a family is left dealing with their grief and the unfortunate fact that those responsible for the accident have yet to be found. According to news reports, the accident occurred early Christmas morning around 2:30 a.m. The crash happened in West Price Hill near the area of Trenton Avenue and West 8th Street. Reportedly, the 28-year-old woman from Delhi Township was attempting to turn onto Trenton Avenue when a car behind her crossed the center line and struck her as she was negotiating her turn. The crash caused both vehicles to overturn, and the victim was taken to a local medical center, where she succumbed to her injuries.
Those driving the car that struck the victim’s left the scene on foot. They have yet to be apprehended, but police are still searching for them. They suspect speeding and/or impairment may have contributed to the crash, and they have asked the public to report anything they may know about the incident.
